This not only takes a toll on an individual's health but also hinders their overall productivity.
The consequences of workplace stress extend beyond personal challenges. It affects companies as a whole through decreased employee morale, low job satisfaction, and higher turnover rates. Employees who experience chronic stress are more likely to take sick leaves or quit their jobs altogether.

One effective time management technique is to prioritize tasks based on their importance and deadlines. Begin by making a list of all the tasks you need to accomplish, then rank them in order of priority. Start with the most important or urgent task first, ensuring that you allocate enough time to complete it thoroughly. By tackling your most pressing responsibilities early on, you can avoid feeling overwhelmed later.
Breaking down complex projects into smaller, manageable tasks can also help improve time management. Rather than trying to approach a large project as one overwhelming entity, divide it into smaller components that can be completed more easily. This allows you to focus on one task at a time and prevents procrastination due to feelings of overwhelm.
Setting realistic goals and establishing specific timelines is essential for effectively managing your workload and meeting deadlines. Be honest with yourself about how much work you can realistically handle within a given timeframe. Set clear objectives for each task or project and determine when they should be completed. Breaking larger goals into smaller milestones can make them more attainable and provide a sense of progress along the way.

One of my energy bodywork clients sought my help for the issues he was having at his work. He loved his job but there was a supervisor who seemed bent on giving him a hard time and was always making demands and finding flaws in his work. He never knew when she would 'strike' and these unexpected grievances were beginning to make his happy days miserable. After having one short zoom session with him, my client felt better and now had direction on how to handle his interactions with her. He sought me out for one more followup session as well. Following these sessions he reported back to me that he was back to enjoying his work and making things happen in a positive way. He no longer had problems with his supervisor and he felt empowered and happy. I was very pleased to hear this! Text my cell to setup a short zoom session for yourself so that you, too, can feel better again. ~Vicki Mah
